I'm open to alternative suggestions for these parts (and I'm aware 16gb is 100% unnecessary). My concern is that this really won't provide much immediate benefit since my 3770K is already OC'd to 4ghz, but could fix the GPU x4 issue. My concern is that the limited bandwidth wont allow me to run 1440P smoothly in most games. The issue with this option is that my video card is running in PCIE 3.0 x4, and the motherboard wont allow it to go up to x16 (bought MB used, probably faulty). If I were to upgrade, I would be selling at least two of the screens for around $80 each. I recently purchased the R9 390 (up from a 7950), so I finally have the ability to run games at 1440P. #Asus pb278q audio not working after upgrading new parts fullI also don't do much multitasking that takes full advantage of all three screens. I'm currently using three Asus VS247H-P 24" monitors that I like a lot, but I'm starting to grow tired of the amount of space they take up. #Asus pb278q audio not working after upgrading new parts how toI'm currently trying to decide how to spend ~$400 and I've narrowed it down to these two options (Monitor vs Mobo/CPU/RAM), and I'm not sure which will be better.
